Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former political candidate and hosting a TV show on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in the month of May that they'd be leaving the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics due to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primaries, and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able observe how the election affected those living in Jordan and became aware of the impact that US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the election of 2010. But she lost to Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 15, 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
